IT Infrastructure management is responsible for the day to day operations of the
Alabama Unified Judicial System’s network and servers. Our three member team is
charged with providing services to over 3,000+ users spread over 100+ locations
utilizing server and networking resources located at the Alabama Judicial Building
Data Center.
Our team is responsible for engineering and managing:
- State Judicial Network
- Wired and Wireless connectivity (T1s, DSL, MetroE)
- Firewalls, Virus, and Spam protection
- Authentication and Authorization services through Active Directory
- Electronic mail services
- Remote network access via VPN clients
- Servers and Databases
- Point to Point data connections to outside agencies
- 24/7 monitoring and problem resolution
- Supreme Court Building Telephony Backbone
- Wired and Wireless voice over IP telephone support
